.......What followed was a
litany of bands (the names of which changed so much even she finds it hard to
remember them all!), side projects, and musical doodles with some of our
favorite local rockers- chris hudak, hartwell littlejohn, brit and alex, johnny
rockalotta and martin lesch just to name a few.poor mullet guy wasn't in the
picture very long.
Her music is a series of contradictions.
Sometimes the melody lulls you into a false sense of security, then you start to
hear the lyric. She knows what it's like to wake up in yesterday's make up, to
yearn for that one true love, to write a song called 'happy' that just makes you
so damn sad.
These days she doesn't want to do the singer/songwriter gig so much. She's ready
to rock out, and the new songs are really fucking good. Holy Honey is the
working title of Joan's newest project that she's been collaborating on with her
drumming sister Jean.
Keep an eye out for them coming to a club near you- We'll keep you posted of
show dates.
